But the moment I stepped in, I knew I had found something special. The display was loaded with glossy pastries and the Sticky Pecan Bun was calling my name. Warm, shiny, coated in caramel and pecans, the smell alone could hypnotise you. My wife went for the Rocher Bom, inspired by Ferrero, and both were unbelievable. I found bones in my burger at Pasadena Burger KL. Today I had the most shocking burger experience of my entire life at Pasadena Burger in Lot 10, Bukit Bintang. We walked from the Pullman through the Pavilion, full of excitement, because the Google reviews looked amazing. The fries were nice, and the presentation was beautiful, so I thought this would be great. Then I took the first bite and found actual bones inside the patty. Not cartilage. Real bones. What I Ate In Bukit Bintang At 12 am, Damascus KL Review Last week in KL, after a full day of filming, I thought I was done, but in Bukit Bintang, the food never sleeps. Restaurants here close at four in the morning and reopen at seven. At midnight, the entire area is still buzzing. We went to Damascus because the daytime queues are crazy long, and coming late actually worked. No queues and all three floors were packed. That alone told me they were doing something right. We ordered a beef shawarma loaded with salad, garlic dip, and pickles. Plus a lamb kofta sandwich with fries and two fresh juices. Mango for me and strawberry for my wife. The mango juice tasted like home—real, fresh Egyptian-style mango. The shawarma was juicy and authentic, and dipping it in that garlic sauce took it to another level. Then the lamb kofta arrived, and honestly, it shocked me. It was even better than the shawarma. My wife said she was not hungry, yet she could finish another whole sandwich. The total was ninety-five ringgit, and for Bukit Bintang, that is unreal. If you are in KL, you must try Damascus. If you have ever been to Kuala Lumpur, you already know the Middle Eastern vibes around Lot Ten are real. Trying the Viral Chinese Muslim Beef Roti in KL, So Crispy and So Messy Today we spotted something familiar in Kuala Lumpur that I have tried before in Singapore, the Chinese Muslim beef roti. The queue was so long on a Sunday and everyone kept lining up nonstop. When we got closer, the smell of the dough, the fillings, and the hotplate was already making my mouth water. We were so lucky because they handed us the very last beef roti before the next batch. It was piping hot, crispy, crunchy, savoury and super oily. My wife had oil running down her jacket. I found a $4.90 Beef Bowl in Singapore, and it shocked me. Today I found one of the cheapest dine-in meals in Singapore at Sukiya inside Clementi Mall. A full medium Gyudon for four dollars and ninety cents, including GST and no service charge, plus they even gave me a free jasmine tea. The beef was tender, the onions were soft, the sauce was sweet and savoury, and once I added ginger, spice, and soy sauce, it became such a comforting Japanese meal.
