Singapore has no shortage of bubble tea and dessert drinks, but now and then, something genuinely surprising shows up. That is precisely what happened when I walked into Beutea 茶仙子 without any intention of ordering a milkshake.

After already having a couple of coffees, caffeine was off the table. Then I spotted the Fresh Mango Milkshake on the menu, priced at just five ninety. I did not expect much. What arrived changed entirely that.

Fresh Mango Milkshake at Beutea Singapore

The first thing you notice is how good it looks. Thick, vibrant and clearly made with real fruit. The first sip confirms it immediately.

This is proper mango flavour. Not artificial syrup. Not overly sweet. You can taste real mango pieces blended into a cold, creamy base that feels refreshing rather than heavy. On a hot Singapore day, this works dangerously well.

White Jade Jelly Explained

One of the standout elements in this drink is Beutea’s White Jade Jelly. If you are used to traditional tapioca pearls, this is very different.

White Jade Jelly is soft, lightly chewy and slightly milky. It adds texture without overpowering the drink and does not distract from the mango flavour. Instead of dominating the experience like some boba can, it complements it.

Sugar Level and Balance

I went with 75% sugar, and it hit the sweet spot perfectly. Lovely enough to feel indulgent, but balanced enough that you can still taste the mango clearly. This is the kind of drink you sip slowly, pause, then sip again.

Price and Value

At five ninety, this Fresh Mango Milkshake is excellent value by Singapore standards. Considering the use of real mango and the overall quality, it feels underpriced rather than expensive. This is where the danger to the wallet comes in, because it is very easy to come back for another.

Final Verdict

If you enjoy fruit-based drinks and are tired of overly sweet bubble tea, this mango milkshake is an easy recommendation. It is refreshing, balanced, and genuinely well made.

So the real question is simple.
Classic milk tea, or would you choose this mango milkshake on a hot Singapore day?

Tea has been consistent except the fresh fruits tea, sometimes it gets abit of fermentation, maybe not stored cold enough. But with new staffs, service has gotten much better. Hence I added one more star.

I visit this outlet every week on Wednesday for the buy 3 free 1 promotion, and sometimes on Thursdays. My usual go-to is the Fresh Watermelon Jasmine Tea (Large) with salted cheese foam. I used to really enjoy it, but recently the taste has been dropping. I started with 50% sugar, then 25% and now I drink 0% sugar. However, it keeps tasting sweeter each time.

There is no consistency anymore and the flavour now feels more artificial, almost like watermelon syrup mixed into the drink. It is quite disappointing, especially since I come here so often.

In addition, the service could be improved. Some staff tend to serve with an unfriendly expression, which does not leave a welcoming impression.

I hope the store can improve both the drink quality and service, as I truly want to continue supporting this outlet.

I discovered Beautea at Tiong Bahru while attending a course at SEAB recently, and I have to say, their drinks really won my heart. The fragrance is amazing, the taste is refreshing, and it’s the kind of drink you instantly remember. Truly worth trying!

However, the ordering process could be much better. Ordering through both the app and the kiosk isn’t very user-friendly, it took me a while to figure out that I could actually pay as a guest without signing up. The staff didn’t seem very willing to help either; I had to ask them to place the order for me, and their attitude wasn’t the most approachable.

Because of the good drinks but low-quality service, I’m giving it 4 stars. Still, if you’re in the area, I would recommend the drinks, they are nice to drink.
