Cinnabon Apple Crumble Bon Review Auckland | Limited Edition Treat
Watch the VLOG: https://www.tiktok.com/@anavidtraveller/video/7595792171026992404I was walking through Newmarket, not even hungry, just minding my own business, when that smell hit. Cinnamon sugar butter. You already know where this is going. I turned my head, and there it was: Cinnabon. But not the usual Classic Roll. Something new. The Apple Crumble Bon. Limited edition and very dangerous.
What Is the Cinnabon Apple Crumble Bon
The Apple Crumble Bon is a twist on the classic Cinnabon cinnamon roll. You get the soft, warm roll layered with spiced apple filling, caramel drizzle, and a generous crumble topping. Think apple crumble meets cinnamon roll comfort food.
First Impressions
Nine dollars later, I was staring at an absolute unit. Even before the first bite, the smell was unreal. Warm cinnamon, baked apples, and buttery crumble. It already felt like Christmas in a box.
Taste Test
First bite, and it was game over.
The roll was soft and fluffy. The apple flavour was real, not artificial. The crumble added texture without overpowering anything. The spice level was just right. Nothing too sweet. Nothing missing. Everything actually worked together, which is rare for these mash-up desserts.
Is It Worth the Price
At nine dollars, it is not cheap, but for a limited-edition dessert meant to be shared, it feels fair. Especially when the quality and balance are this good. One roll easily feeds two people unless you pretend you are sharing.
Who Should Try It
If you are already a Cinnabon fan, this is a must.
If you love apple crumble, you will feel right at home.
If you are walking past and smell it, trust your nose.
Final Verdict
This is one of those limited-edition items that actually delivers. Comforting, indulgent, and well-balanced. If you see it available, do not overthink it. Limited edition really does mean limited time.
Are you sharing it, or are you pretending you will and eating most of it yourself?
Google Reviews:

At least tell people how long they have been sitting around.
If you see them moving on their own definitely place in the nearest bin.
CIN-NOT-BON.
We ordered the pecan caramel and chocolate Cinnabons with two coffees.
It was first thing in the morning, no queues so you expect good fresh food and great coffee….right? WRONG!
A 10 minute wait for the coffee (as they forgot to start/prep the machine) then we sat down to the worst cinnamon rolls (Cinnabons) ever!
They were nothing but doughy uncooked slop!
AVOID! Spend your hard earned money elsewhere.
On the first day, I just got the caramel pecan minibun which utterly blew me away, so two days later I went back to try the OG Cinnabon + the caramel pecan in the classic size – both of which were phenomenal. Personally, I actually liked the caramel pecan bun the most. The caramel was gooey and the pecans added a nice extra crunch.
Cinnabon is 100% worth the hype – and I’m not just saying this for the sake of it or exaggerating in any way. In fact, I would even say they are worth a day trip to Auckland!
I thought the service was really good and the staff were very informative when we had questions. It was also so fun to watch them make the cinnamon buns. They were very interactive with everyone watching!
