My McDonald’s Tiong Bahru Meal Review: Cheesy Jalapeño Quarter Pounder Truffle Fri, and Cookies and Cream Pie

Today I visited McDonald’s in Tiong Bahru, and honestly, this meal surprised me in the best possible way. I went for the Cheesy Jalapeño Quarter Pounder D, with the Truffle Cheese McShaker Fries, and the Cookies and Cream Pie. The whole combo cost fifteen dollars and fifty cents and arrived at my table looking like a whole event—Hamburglar, Grimace, Birdiee, the entire nostalgic crew were on the packaging, and I loved it.

The first thing I did was the heat test on the fries, and yes, they passed perfectly. Piping hot. Then I opened the burger, and the first thing I saw was the bacon peeking out. One bit, e, and my goodness, that jalapeño cheese with the soft beef bacon tasted so good. You know how some beef bacons can be dry and super crispy. This one was soft and yummy, and honestly, it made me smile.

Next came the shaker fries. I am not a big fan of truffles, so I only used half the packet. Gave it a good shake and the cheese flavour came through immediately. If you love cheesy fries, this is one you will fall in love with. Warm golden fries with that cheesy truffle seasoning is a whole vibe.

Then the Cookies and Cream Pie arrived fresh, hot, and crispy. The cream inside tasted like a warm Oreo hug. It is still a McDonald’s pi,e so you already know the vib,e but this one hit the spot perfectly. Sweet, warm, and satisfying.

Overall, the whole meal was a win for me. Great flavour, great temperature, and everything tasted better than expected. I will definitely order it again before it disappears from the menu. Would you try this combo, or is something else calling your name at McDonald’s Singapore?
